What is This Program?
This program was developed for the purpose of dissertation fullfillment for the Civil Engineering Department of Middle East Technical University. In the research phase, developers gathered a database consisting more than 1000 images for this program. Academically speaking, obtained results are sufficient to demonstrate the possible usage of this program in practical cases. In order to accomplish a professional usage scenario, more accurate models are needed. Hence developers offered this site as a free platform, where uploaded images will be further used in the enhancement of this program. Sadly, today there are no available comprehensive dataset for corrosion detection. The developers believe this site can help them to grow a larger database which will lead to a professional tool for site engineers.
At this stage, it should be reminded that results of this experimental program should only be used in caution and it may not always demonstrate the truth. In case of any mislead, the program creators or anyone related to it can not be held responsible.
